Employees who demonstrate outstanding job performance may receive special recognition under the City's Employee and Manager of the Year Program. Three awards are presented under the program:

• Employee of the Year (Safety)
• Employee of the Year (General Government)
• Manager of the Year

To qualify for the program, nominees must have been regularly employed by the City for one full year.

Ineligible for awards are those who are employed in Executive classifications, are involved in administering the program, or have received an award the previous two years.

The winners and finalists receive cash awards, plaques and certificates, and recognition from the City Council.

Nominations may be submitted by any employee. Forms may be obtained from your department secretary or from Human Resources.
