Engineering

This section is responsible for the City’s infrastructure Capital Improvement Project design and construction; inspection of all construction work to ensure compliance with plans, specifications, and City standards; the overall management of the City’s water system and Water Fund, including water supply and quality, water system infrastructure; the City’s traffic signal system and coordination of the City’s transportation network; storm water compliance.

Maintenance

This section provides on-going services for street/sidewalk repairs and cleaning; landscape maintenance for medians, parks and City trees, building services, fleet management, water system repairs and sewer operations.

Fullerton Municipal Airport

Fullerton Airport is the only general aviation airport in Orange County and designated by the FAA as a reliever airport in the National Plan of Integrated Airport Systems. Airport staff in conjunction with other Public Works staff provide for business development; facility maintenance; capital improvements for the pavement, drainage, tower, lobby and hangars.
